An Inter Personal course on conscious communication 1 x week for 6 weeks. This is an interactive course teaching life skills for clear communication and resolving conflict in a way that meets everyones needs.
This will be followed by an Intra Personal course on learning to trust yourself and make good choices. This is also an interactive life skills program. Bridget has taught these courses for the last 5 years at Desert Star Community School and West Sedona School and looks forward to sharing with the 6th grade.Bridget has a masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology and has been a psychologist for 23 years. She has a private practice in West Sedona. If you have any questions feel free to call her at 204-5624. We are asking all 6th Year parents/guardians to donate at least $100 of their tax-credit money to these courses.

  • The Artist in the Classroom: The Artist in the Classroom, sponsored by the city of Sedona Arts Council has offered Maleita Wise an opportunity to introduce the visual journal process to the 5th and 6th grades at Sedona Charter School. This is a method of combining art and the written word in a journal format and helps the children see communication as visual as well as linear. Using various topics, the children will explore what life feels like to them at this time. There is no better way to learn about symbol than to create your own and be empowered by these as you write. Maleita has taught this process for over 30 years for all age levels, drug and alcohol treatment centers, and the Wellness Center at NAU. It is her hope to offer this tool as an ongoing way for kids to identify their goals, dreams, intentions and to feel clear about their path in life. More about her background can be found at www.joeandmaleitawise.com.
