  • Thanksgiving Feast Potluck TOMORROW: Parents and Guardians are invited to our annual Thanksgiving Feast Potluck will take place in our classroom on Friday, November 18th at noon. We will provide drinks and utensils; please contribute the following items to ensure a full meal for everyone:
          • 6th Years: Meat, Cheese, and/or Bread
          • 5th Years: Chicken Noodle and/or Vegetarian Vegetable Soup
          • 4th Years: Desserts
  • Red Rock Fantasy Lights On Celebration TONIGHT: We will be unveiling Feliz Navidad by Frida Kahlo tonight, Thursday, November 17th at 5:00pm. Meet us at the fountain at Los Abrigados.
  • Fall Break: School will be closed the week of November 21st-25th for Fall Break.
  • Chocolate Donations: We are doing the basket collections again for the Gala this year & U.E. has been assigned the CHOCOLATE basket! All items are due in the baskets by this Friday, November 18th. Each student will earn 1 Charter Buck for donating to the basket (not per item, but per kid; ie. if one kid gives 5 chocolates, they still only get 1 Charter Buck). A special bake sale will be held the last week of November where the Charter Bucks can be spent.
  • Tutoring Late Fee: We, SEDONA CHARTER SCHOOL, will charge a $20.00 late fee for each student picked up from tutoring after 4:30pm.
  • Local/Global Communities After School Club: Jacki will oversee UE and MS students in a new after school club focusing on promoting the welfare of our community as well as other communities across the globe. The group will meet each Friday from 3:30-4:30 in the UE classroom. The group will be working in partnership with New Global Citizens, a non-profit organization based in Phoenix and the Sedona Time Bank, a local non-profit organization.
