School Pictures
UE school pictures will be taken on September 27th from 8:30-10:30 am.
Title 1 After School Math Tutoring
Jacki will offer Title 1 Math tutoring Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm for grades 4-6 in the Upper Elementary Classroom. Please be prompt when picking up your students.
Library Trip Chaperones
Each grade will be visiting Sedona Public Library bi-weekly to do research and check out books for personal reading. 6th Years will visit every other Monday starting September 12th; 5th Years will visit every other Monday starting the 19th; 4th Years will visit every other Tuesday beginning September 6th. We are in need of chaperones to help students choose books and do research.
Laminating Volunteers
If you are available to help us with laminating during the school day, please let us know or drop by and check in with Marsha.
U.E. Support Team Meeting
We are looking for two parent/guardian volunteers per grade to help us with classroom needs (fundraising, field trip and event planning, etc.) If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at sedonacharterue@gmail.com. Our first meeting will take place in the UE classroom at 3:30 pm on Monday, September 26th.
Montessori Parents Evening Program
Please join Robyn Brieman from CMTE/NY (Center for Montessori Teacher Education) and the Sedona Charter School staff for an evening of Montessori enlightenment. The event will take place in the Upper Elementary classroom this Thursday, September 15th from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
Morning Drop Off Volunteers
We would like to free the UE teachers up for planning and working with students in the mornings between 7:45 - 8:30 am and are looking for volunteers to help walk students from the library parking lot to the school at these times Mondays - Fridays. There will be a teacher from another classroom on duty at these times as well. Please email us at sedonacharterue@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer.
Fall Harvest Festival
Our annual Fall Harvest Festival will take place from 3:30-5:00 pm on Monday, October 31. There will be tricks, treats, and a haunted house!
Colossal Cave Drivers Needed
Day of the Dead Festival Drivers Needed
The UE class will be attending the Day of the Dead Festival at Tlaquepaque on Monday, October 31 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm. We need drivers and chaperones.
