U.E. Support Team

We are looking for two parent/guardian volunteers per grade to help us with classroom needs (fundraising, field trip and event planning, etc.) If you are interested in volunteering, pleas email us at sedonacharterue@gmail.com.

Toys

Please remind your child not to bring toys to school. We will be confiscating toys that are being played with during class and returning them to parents upon request at the end of the school day.

Supplies

A BIG thanks to everyone who donated supplies to the classroom--especially cleaning supplies. We want to make sure that each child has the following items:

-pencil box

-tennis shoes for P.E. on Tuesdays and Thursdays

-re-useable water bottle

Library

We are going to establish a regular routine of visiting the library and allowing students to check out books to be kept at school for reading and research. Please send your child's small key chain card to be kept at school for such visits by Friday, August 26, 2011.

Back to School Picnic

The Parent Partnership will hold a potluck picnic on Wednesday, August 31st from 4:30pm-5:30pm. All are welcome to attend and share a dish.

Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers to help run our first Movie Night on Friday, September 9. Please email us at sedonacharterue@gmail.com to volunteer. We have the drivers we need for our field trip the the Lava Tube in Flagstaff on Wednesday, August 30.

Book Group

There will be a book club the 2nd Wednesday of every month at Sedona Charter School to discuss the book Montessori Madness.

End of Day Procedures

We greatly appreciate you waiting outside of the classroom at the end of the day to pick up your student. Our school day ends at 3:15pm and we will are unable to dismiss students until then without a parent signing them out in the office.
